Egyptian goddess

Isis (Don't get her name confused with todays' ISIS) was one of the most important goddess of Ancient Egypt. Her name translates to "Queen of the throne" and we have made some earrings inspired by Isis. They are made with multifaceted gold crystals and sky blue beads. These earrings are fit for a queen.

It takes two......

Wearing the right necklace with an outfit will add some flare and pizzazz.
But pairing a necklace up with some earrings will make a statement " Baby I'm worth it!"
Why not pair up a necklace with earrings?

5 Jewelry hacks that can save space, time, and money

Have you ever wondered how to clean your jewelry without having to take a trip to your local jeweler? Or ways to prevent your jewelry from turning colors? Here are five jewelry hacks that can help.

1. Save space by using a hanger- I bought a hanger, painted it with Fuchsia acrylic paint, and added these oversized stick pins and voilà! You've got yourself a jewelry hanger that will save you some space in your closest.
2. Use silica gel packs to prevent your jewelry from turning colors - If you have ever bought seaweed snacks, or a pair of shoes, you'll notice that they contain a little packet of tiny gel beads. These little beads contain silica gel which absorbs moisture. The same goes for jewelry, when jewelry hits the air and elements, it starts to oxidized and turn colores. So put your one piece of jewelry in a zip lock bag, along with a couple of silica gel packs, and zip that bad boy up until you are ready to wear your jewelry again.
3. Use mild soap to clean your jewelry-
Instead of making a trip to your jeweler to clean your jewelry, just add a few drops of mild soap and warm water, (preferably 1:1 ratio) And with a soft toothbrush, gently clean your jewelry. and rinse.
4. When traveling, use a pill box to store your earrings-
When you are getting ready to take a trip, and you are packing your suitcase, use a pill box to store your earrings and earring backs. Especially if you are prone to loosing earring backs like I do, using a pill box will help keep  your earrings organized while you are traveling.
5. Use Glad Press and seal plastic wrap to prevent tangles-
Here's another travel jewelry hack you can try. To prevent your necklaces from getting kinks and tangling, just lay your necklace down on a piece of the press and seal plastic wrap, and add a piece over your necklace so that your necklace is in between the two pieces, then press and seal.
Good luck jewelry hacking!!

What a great time we had at the Aguanga Craft Fair this past Memorial day. Great weather, great people. One of the locals, (photographed above) stopped by to say hello. The locals are such friendly people. and the resort was dog friendly. Just about everyone showed off their beloved family pet, big and small.  😊

Our 3 layered Angel Banded Agate and wing chain necklace was a hit! Everyone that stopped by to say hello loved it!  I'd like to thank the residence of Aguanga Resort for your support.
